OSBF Unternehmer im Wartestand (UiW)
OSBF Entrepreneur in Residence
It is the dream of many to run a software company and to become businessmen. There are many excellent product ideas particularly in the software industry in Europe, which cannot be successfully realized because the right management team mixture is missing.
OSBF wants to take remedial action and offer a platform to find these partners. The OSBF-Projects Financing Forum, Business Coaching and the OSBF-Business Plan Challenge offer the best bases for this purpose, in addition to the fact that as a member you will be part of the OSBF network.
How does this work?
1. You become a member of OSBF and in doing so a business coach and this in turn allows you to become acquainted with businessmen with interesting business ideas, who are looking for partners with specialized knowledge and experience in order to assist them with their endeavors.
2. As business coach, you will be a juror for the (OSBA) European Business Plan Challenge and will read and assess submitted business plans.
3. You’ll take part in the financing forum and get to know enterprises specialized in early-stage financing. This way you will become acquainted with investment management companies for venture capitalists that are interested in your skills.
What do we need?
1. Of course not everybody is up to the challenge as a businessman in waiting. We need a detailed curriculum vitae. The best prerequisites are experience as a successful entrepreneur with even perhaps multiple businesses, or experience in comparable employment positions.
2. You will receive details regarding a Entrepreneur in Residence initially via e-mail, followed by a telephone conference with Richard Seibt, wherein your interest in becoming a businessman in waiting will be discussed. After submitting the signed application for membership to OSBF as a business coach, but before the engagement as a business coach, Richard Seibt will conduct a confidential personal interview with you.
3. An additional prerequisite is the willingness to invest money in the enterprise upon admission.
OSBF is conscious that your interest in becoming a Entrepreneur in Residence is to be handled with the utmost confidentiality. Therefore your status as a Entrepreneur in Residence will not be recognizable on OSBF’s website. This status shall only be known to Richard Seibt, the Chairman of OSBF’s Board of Directors. You are of course free to publish your status as a business coach or not. As a project manager for coaching, the business plan challenge and financing forum, Mr. Richard Seibt will insure that you are integrated and familiarized with the respective processes. We welcome any suggestions that you might have, which would improve our offers or further enhance OSBF.
