How to become a member
You can join as a personal member (€ 100/year), as a company (from € 1,000/year, depending on turnover) or as an institutional member (€ 500/year). Members of universities are exempt from subscriptions.
A personal membership includes the function of a Foundation Coach (http://osbf.de/en/campuscoaches). Aspirants for personal membership have to attach a list of possible consulting fields they are experienced in and present it to the OSBF Board members.
The membership fees for companies include the following:
- Logo on the member page
- Rotating logo below the navigation bar
- 500-character company description on the member page
- Contact and E-mail link for quick networking
- The right to hold events in the name of the OSBF
- Participation in the quarterly university forums
- The right to establish your company in the Innovation Centre for Young Companies or to rent space at favourable conditions and to make use of the consulting offer of the Foundation Coaches
- Participation in the financial forums
Venture capitalists can sponsor the OpenSource Competition. The sponsoring amount is taken into account for the membership fee.
Heise Zeitschriften Verlag publishing house offers all members a discount on participating at the annual Heise OpenSource Meets Business conference.
